2K Games has made a long-awaited announcement for fans of the Mafia series – pre-orders for the new franchise installment titled Mafia: The Old Country have officially started. The game is scheduled for release on September 24, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
Mafia: The Old Country will serve as a prequel to the original trilogy and transport players to Sicily in the early 20th century. The story centers around a young Sicilian named Giacomo who is forced to join a mafia family to protect his loved ones during turbulent times in Italy.

Players can pre-order one of two editions:

- Deluxe Edition – contains the base game, 3-day early access, exclusive outfits and weapons, and a season pass for future DLC
