Adobe has finally released a full-featured version of Photoshop for Android devices. The app is temporarily available for free and offers most of the key desktop features adapted for mobile devices.

After years of anticipation, Adobe has officially released the mobile version of its flagship graphics editor Photoshop for the Android platform. This event marks an important milestone in the development of mobile creative tools.
Core Features
Photoshop for Android includes most of the popular desktop tools: layers, masks, brushes, filters, and selection tools. The interface is specifically adapted for touch control, making image editing intuitive on tablets and smartphones.
The app supports working with PSD files, ensuring full compatibility with projects created in the desktop version of Photoshop. Users can start working on a project on their computer and continue on their mobile device.
System Requirements
For stable app performance, Android 8.0 or higher with at least 4GB of RAM is recommended. Optimal performance is achieved on devices with 6-8GB of RAM and Snapdragon 8-series processors or equivalent chipsets.
The app takes about 2GB of free space on the device, plus additional space for cache and temporary project files.
Pricing Policy
Currently, Adobe Photoshop for Android is distributed free of charge as part of beta testing. The company plans to implement a subscription model after testing completion, similar to other Creative Cloud products.
Users with active Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions will get full access to all app features at no additional cost.
Differences from Desktop Version
The mobile version has some limitations compared to desktop Photoshop. Some professional tools are missing, such as advanced color correction, 3D functions, and some specialized filters.
Nevertheless, the app covers 80% of the most used features and is perfect for quick editing, photo retouching, and creating graphics on the go.
The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store, with additional information available on the official Adobe website.
