Buying a new laptop brings not only joy, but also new worries: you need to connect it to the Internet, and preferably without wires, via Wi-Fi. The easiest way to connect wirelessly to the network is to use a Wi-Fi router (router) - everyone knows this nowadays. But how to choose it and how to configure it correctly?
You can immediately go to the store - a seller can help us choose a router in this case. However, unfortunately, not all sellers are competent, often there is no help from them (I myself saw in one well-known computer store how a seller tried to impose an expensive router on an elderly buyer, which also did not support working with her provider's network). In addition, language barrier often interferes with communication with a specialist.
Another option is to search on Internet sites and forums. Here you can always find a lot of useful information, but at the same time you sometimes come across such stupidities and absurdities that you are simply amazed. And those router models that are praised on foreign Russian-language sites and forums are not always available for purchase in Estonia.
Well, the router has been bought, brought home and it remains only to connect it. The seller in the store assured you that setting up a router is not difficult? In principle, yes, it is. But if the experience of communicating with a computer is limited only to reading news, communicating via Skype and e-mail, watching movies and playing online games, then setting up a Wi-Fi router can turn into a real nervous breakdown. In addition, sometimes the purchased router is not intended to work specifically in your network (this usually applies to STV Saturn clients).
