Revolutionary Processor Architecture
MediaTek Dimensity 9500 appeared in Geekbench database under model number MT6993, revealing impressive technical specifications. The new chipset uses an innovative core configuration:
- One ultra-core Travis running at 3.23 GHz
- Three performance cores Alto running at 3.03 GHz
- Four efficiency cores Gelas running at 2.23 GHz
New X930 Architecture
According to Digital Chat Station, D9500 will be the first chipset to introduce CPU layout based on the new X930 architecture. Travis and Alto cores are based on Arm Cortex-X9 architecture with SME support, while Gelas comes from the next-generation A7 core family.
Graphics Performance
For graphics processing, the chipset features Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU built on Immortalis-Drage architecture with improved ray tracing and enhanced power efficiency. Current GPU benchmark result stands at 15,717 points, but MediaTek plans to complete performance evaluation next month.
Process Technology and Power Efficiency
The chip is manufactured using TSMC's 3nm N3P process, which provides optimal balance between performance and power efficiency. This represents a significant step forward compared to the previous generation Dimensity 9400.
Release Date and First Devices
Official announcement of MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is expected in September 2025. The first smartphones with the new flagship chipset will likely be Vivo X300 and Oppo Find X9.
