Following its recent announcement at the I/O 2025 conference, Google has significantly expanded the availability of its revolutionary AI video generator Veo 3. The technology is now accessible not only through the web interface but also in the Gemini mobile application for Android and iOS devices.

Key Features and Limitations

Subscribers to the Google AI Pro plan at $19 per month gain access to the Veo 3 trial package with a limit of 10 videos. After exhausting the limit, users automatically switch to the previous generation generator — Veo 2.

An important feature of the new update was the addition of visible watermarks to all generated videos, except for content created through the Flow AI tool for Google AI Ultra subscription holders. All materials also receive an invisible SynthID watermark for additional protection.

Geographic Expansion and New Tools

Google also announced the expansion of Google AI Ultra subscription availability in the United Kingdom, increasing the total number of supported countries to 73. The cost of this subscription in the US is $249.99 per month.

To combat the spread of fake content, the company developed the SynthID Detector tool, which will allow users to check materials for the presence of AI-generation watermarks. Currently, the tool is available to a limited number of testers.

Development Prospects

The launch of Veo 3 on mobile platforms marks a new era in AI content creation, making professional video generation tools accessible to a broader smartphone user audience.
